About
Dr. Mamika Motokawa graduated from Akita University School of Medicine, Japan, in 2001, and completed her Postdoctoral Fellowship at the University of Connecticut Health Centre in 2003. She is a certified member of the Japanese Association for Thoracic Surgery and the Japanese Society for Cardiovascular Surgery.
With over 20 years of experience, Dr. Motokawa has served in several renowned hospitals in Japan, including Muroran City General Hospital and Kitasato University. She specializes in CABG (off-pump and on-pump), valve repair and replacement, and aortic stent grafting (TAA & AAA). Currently, she is serving as a Senior Consultant in the Department of Cardiovascular Surgery at SHIP International Hospital.
